The Sondheim Intensive

This 3 week course is designed to take a student through the career of Stephen Joshua Sondheim, a man who is commonly considered to be the greatest living composer in the Musical Theatre. Covering everything from his early work in grade school through to his current efforts, this intensive takes an intimate look at the man who gave us West Side Story, Company, Sweeney Todd, and so many other wonderful shows.

The Rodgers & Hammerstein Intensive

This 8 week course is designed to take a student through the collaboration of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, two of the pioneers of Musical Theatre. Starting with their work prior to Oklahoma, the course covers all of their major works as a duo through Hammerstein’s death in 1960.

The Musical Theatre History Course

This 28 week course is designed to take a student through more than 150 years of Musical Theatre History. With a focus on American Musicals, the entire scope of the artform is examined, from the early days of Vaudeville, through the COVID-19 shutdown.
